4/2016 from Randall Knuckles
Also found another Kentucky deed for Bobby from 1875. This was in deed book 1 on a top back shelf. Almost impossible to reach - even with a ladder. But you know I'm persistent. The unique thing about this one is it refers to him as "Robert C. Knuckles". First time I've seen mention of a middle name or initial. Don't know of any other Robert from that time. The C. doesn't likely stand for Calloway as that is a Kentucky
community name. Maybe Charles. Just an interesting tidbit.
Samuel and Sarah Crank to Robert Knuckles bordering Franklin Gambrel on Straight Creek. Mentions Robert and Elender Knuckles. (Elender not known or identified). Witnessed Aug 22, 1875 by his nephew William R Knuckles. (Son Robert (Robin) married Samuel and Sarah daughter Lucy Crank in Jan 1875)
