The trooper, a passenger in his car and two occupants of the other car identified as Edward R Nuckols of Richmond and his mother were taken to Danville Hosp for treatment. The car the trooper was driving crashed into Nuckols

A true bill was returned inthe case of Leroy Taylor of Chatham Rt 5 charged with the Nov 18, 1974 buglary of the home of Edward R Nuckols and the theft of a television, two radios, blankets, two electric heaters, toaster, hot plate, china and bathroom and kitchen scales, with a total value of $400

Leroy Taylor, 20 of Chatham Rt 5 was sentenced to 10 years in the penitentiary on a conviction of breaking and entering the home of Edward Nuckols on Nov 18, 1974. On a plea of guilty, Taylor was convicted on March 11 of statuary burglary and grand larceny in the theft of property valued at $400 from the Nuckols home. On the grand larceny conviction, Judge Thompson suspended imposition of sentence for 20 years.
Albert Irving Stone, convicted of aiding and abetting the grand larceny of the Nuckols home was sentenced to 10 years in the penitentiary, suspended, with the defendant to serve six months on the City Farm. The suspension was conditioanl unopn Stone completing three months of ---
