«/u»The affiant, John B. Knuckles, states that he is a son of TJ Knuckles deceased; that T. J. Knuckles died testate, in Bell County, Kentucky, on August, 1904, leaving surviving him at the time the following named heirs, to wit:
Lucy Knuckles, his widow
John D. Knuckles, a son,
George M. Knuckles, a son
Edgar Knuckles, a son
This affiant further states that Lucy Knuckles is now deceased.
This affiant also further states that Edgar Knuckles died testate, in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, on September 12, 1942, leaving surviving him only one child, Thelma Knuckles, who is now more than 21 years of age.
This affiant states that he, George M. knuckles and Thelma Knuckles Guimenny each own a one third undivided interest in and to all the real property of T.J. Knuckles and that they and they only are all the heirs of T. J. Knuckles entitled to inherit and dispose of any and all real property of the late T. J. Knuckles. This property pertains to land in Rockcastle County, Kentucky.

Mrs Thomas Nuckols of No 2100 Fairmount Ave was the recepient of a delightful surprise party Friday evening from 8-12 o'clock, which was tendered her by a number of her friends in honor of her birthday. Mrs Nuckols was taken completely by surprise but nevertheless, proved herself a charming hostess. Miss Gaulding one of the ladies of the house was let into the secret and had prepared an elegant repast for the guests. Mrs Nuckols received many beautiful gifts, which included gold, silver , china, lenen and cut glass. Among those present were Mrs George Troxler, Mrs Mary Lawrence, Mr and Mrs Bowden, Mr and Mrs T Nuckols, Miss Lizzie Gaulding, Mssrs Elmore Nuckols, John Nuckols and Misses Jane, Marie , Helen Nuckols and others.

Mrs Patience Pettis Siler, relect of P M Siler, of Denmark, Rockbridge county, died at the home of her daughter Mrs W H Sensabaugh of Rockbridge Baths vicinity on Jan 17 at a advanced age. She was before hee marriage a Miss Wright of Amherst county and is survived by one brother, Cary Wright of Idaho, and ten children: J A Siler and Mrs W H Cummings, Marion, Rockbridge county; Mrs Mark Hattan (wife of Mark Hattan Sr) of Denmark, Rockbridge county; Mrs W M Nuckols and Mrs W H Sensabaugh, of Rockbridge Baths; William L Siler, Sedgwick Ks; Mrs A R Agner, Montgomery WV, Mrs E Anderson, Clinton Mass; Mrs R M Potter, Low Moor Va and Mrs G S Lotts of Timber Ridge, Rockbridge county, wife of the county overseer of the poor, G S Lotts. She is survived by 37 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The interment was made in old Hattan burying grounds, near Denmark, Rockbridge county.
