THE HENRY BULLETIN, Tue., Jan. 18, 1927, p. 4, col. 2 [edited]. Swin D. St anley, 56, Oak Level sawmill owner, was fatally injured Friday when a tru ck he was driving was struck at Bassett by southbound Norfolk and Wester p assenger train No. 21. He died Friday afternoon at the Lucy Lester Hospit al here. Surviving are his widow, a son, J. J. Stanley of Bassett and a da ughter, Mrs. Knuckles of Park Street. Funeral services were held Sund ay at Mt. Bethel Church.
