St Clair-Nuckols
Dover Mines, VA-The marriage of Mr J Thad St Clair of Erin Shades VA and Miss Lillian G Nuckols, daughter of Mr C R Nuckols of Dover Mines, VA took place April 23 at St Matthews Church and was performed by the Rev W C Pace assisted by Rev J W Reynolds of Manchester VA. The bride, in blue silk, trimmed in cream lace entered with her maid of honor, Miss Mattie Nuckols, in white organdy. The bridegroom with his best man, Mr Robert Johnson of Sabot VA. The bridesmaids were Misses Bessie Fuller of Richmond, cousin of the bride, MIssouri Wade, Daisy Alvis of Loules and Colena Nuckols. The ushers were Mssrs Elbert and Albert Nuckols of Dimmock, WV and Arthur Nuckols all brothers of the bride; Theodoro Isbell of Louisa. A reception for the bridal party and a few friends was given after the wedding in the home of the bridegroom. The church was beautifully decorated in green and cut flowers. Among the guests were Mr and Mrs Priddy, Mr and Miss Nuckols and Mr Robert Jackson of Charlottesville, VA
