?Possible son of Hezekiah P Nuckols, living on another farm in the 1850 Census.?
1850 Barren Co, is William NICKOLS age 22 son of Lewis and Ann Nickol , no relation to Nuckolls. The fact this grandson death cert had KNUCKLES, made me try to fit this guy into the family

William may have had a dau Fanny who married Ralston Taylor 6/23/1875. They aslo lived in Barren Co, Hiseville, KY but spelling on marriage was absolutley NUCKOLS. copy of cert was blank for witnesses and surities, only recorded names and date by clerk. JMC Taylor and Fannie appear in 1880 census first child born about 1876. No Fannie or Frances Nuckols or Nichols found in 1850 or 1860 census.

Marriage license signed by J P Nuckols, ( Joseph Pryor?). Wife name on license was Mary Ann Wines, Mary crossed out and Eliza written. On the certificate, Eliza crossed out and "L-iza" written. I suggest this is the right family because of the following:
1) Marriage cert is W H Nuckols, no dotted "i"
2) Louisa and Eliza phonetically sound similar
3) birth of child Mary in Jan of 1870 occuring 15 months after marriage
4) Marriage license bonded by J P Nuckols (possibly Joseph Pryor)
Marriage cert at home of M C Johnson who appears in 1870 & 1880 census as father in law

Hezekiah and family were cabinet makers, not blacksmiths.

Research Notes:
It seems strange that in 1909 and 1911, Logan is found living at the same address as Lucy, the widow of Horace Nuckols. Makes us believe there was a family connection.
