Mary Arminta KNUCKLE/KUNKLE was born 9/15/1859 Butler Co, OH. She was the daughter of Abraham Kunkel and Elizabeth Lemley (both born Butler Co) on her death cert and marriage record. She died as Minda Martin 11/18/1934 in Knox Co, Pike OH. 72y2m2d. widow of Alex Martin. Mrs Carrie Boggs was the informant.  She married # 1 James M Ottinger 12/4/1884 whom she divorced. She md #2 Stephen Alexander Martin Nov 3, 1915 in Knox Co, OH. Her and Steve appear in 1920 Knox Co, Wayne Twp OH he age 77 and she listed as Mary A age 60. Stephen Alexander Martin was born Jul 4 1842 in Knox Co, Wayne, OH and died 7/30/1924 also in Wayne Twp age 82y 18m. He was the son of John Martin and Charity McDougle. Wife listed as Mary Arminda Martin. They both buried in Forest Cemetery. Minda A Martin is found in 1930 as a widow age 70 living in Knox Co, 259 N Taylor St with her aunt named Lida Losh. Lida 84 also a widow. No record can be found of Mary or Arminta in the household of an Abraham in 1860 or 1870, however we find them in 1880 Richland Co, OH. Abraham Kunkle 42 OH PA PA, wife Margaret age 25 dau named Amanda 21 (this Arminta) , Emerson, 18, Delivian, 16, John 14, Edward 12, Ida 7, Michael 4, Sarah 1. Perhaps not related to our KNUCKLE family it seems.
A child of her brother Edward named John Earl KNUCKLES (KUNKLE), born 1891 to E W Knuckles and Ella Beal married Dec 22, 1915 Knox Co, OH to Delphia Elizabeth Brown. She born 1895 in Lexington OH to John T Brown and Ella Elliott.

Flunnel Martin born 1882 age 34 son of Burnell Martin and Edith Martin married Lizzie Robinson born 1887 age 29 on May 13, 1916 in Franklin Co, OH. She the dau of Henry Robinson and Lettie Nuckles. No record of couple or parents in any previous census, death records, etc...

Harvey KNUCKLE born 1891 age 26 son of Robert Knuckles and Vine Shepard. He married Erma Reed b 1894 on Jan 8, 1917 in Coshocton Co, OH, she the dau of William Reed and Sarah Lowe.  Harvey, parents, or wife were not able to be located 1900-1930 census
