NUCKOLLS-CONNER-- LeAnne Marie, Born
in Tulsa, April 8, 1963. LeAnne succumbed to cancer of the spinal cord after a 2
year and 9 month battle. She died on June 23, 2003 and entered into God's
eternity where the hardships of the past shall be forgotten and not remembered
or come to mind. Instead, there shall always be rejoicing and happiness. LeAnne
was the daughter of Ouida Marie Merrifield of Tulsa and Donald Lee Eddy of San
Francisco, CA. She is also survived by her life partner and caregiver, Janice
Diane Hinds of the home in Denver, CO. She so loved her family which includes 3
sisters, Karen Sue Henry of Tulsa, Elizabeth Ann Eddy of Islip, NY and Erin
Leigh Eddy of Concord, CA. LeAnne also had 5 nieces and 1 nephew, Kristen Marie
Privett, Allison Leigh Keim, Elizabeth Anne Woolslayer, Lyndsey Liu, Jennifer
Helen Merrifield, and Benjamin Patrick Woolslayer. She also cherished her
extended family: her Papa, Robert Waring Merrifield and his 3 sons, Royal Joseph
Merrifield, Christian Roane Merrifield and Robert Waring Merrifield, III, all of
Tulsa, together with numerous aunts and uncles on both sides. LeAnne's education
included 12 years at Holland Hall, Bachelor of Science from Vanderbilt
University and a Master's degree in Education and Exercise Physiology from the
University of Texas. She was an educator and administrator at the university
level and will continue that endeavor with a recently authored textbook:
"Kinesiology for Health Care Providers." In death LeAnne continued to give of
herself and educate with her anatomical gifts to cancer research and science to
5 teaching hospitals and universities throughout the country. She was a member
of Pi Beta Phi Sorority, Tennessee Beta Chapter. Her community activities and
humanitarian organizations together with her professional memberships,
accomplishments, honors and awards are too numerous to list. She was a
tremendous athlete excelling in many sports throughout her life. She loved to
travel, was a beautiful homemaker, maintained an elaborate perennial and
vegetable garden and was an accomplished cook. She taught cooking as a form of
hospitality until her last few months, all while in her wheelchair. Her most
cherished possession was her beloved pet, L.N., her chocolate Labrador. She was
a Deacon and Eucharist Minister at The Metropolitan Community Church of the
Rockies and represented her congregation together with her priest at various
international conferences including Canada and Australia since 1995. LeAnne's
character was exemplified by her loyalty to her many friends. A stranger could
find immediate comfort in her presence. Her sense of humor was a great
attraction within her presence and felt by all whose path she crossed. No matter
what the circumstance, she would search for and only view the positive. Her life
is in God's hands, and in His will we shall see her again in the twinkling of an
eye. LeAnne's funeral and celebration of life will be held Wednesday, July 2,
2003 at 6 p.m., Trinity Episcopal Church, 501 South Cincinnati, Tulsa. In lieu
of flowers LeAnne requested donations be made to the "LeAnne Nuckolls-Conner
Holland Hall Girls Athletic Fund." Her family thanks you.

SHEEHY, Daniel
- Was born on October 22, 1946. On July 5, 2003, knowing that his work here was
done, he left us to begin the next chapter of his life. Dan was a true genius,
but he prided himself in his ability to fool people into believing otherwise.
Dan was also a man of integrity: in both word and action, he was always utterly
true to himself, always unmistakably Dan. He elevated the inherited Sheehy brand
of quirkiness and humor to unprecedented heights, and at large gatherings, he
glowed with a palpable and contagious magic. He loved to see the smiles and
laughs he brought to others. He loved to collect pens by the thousands and then
give them away. He loved his garden. Dan founded and ran a large corporation,
though even his great success in business could not match his success as a
husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Dan's powerful love of family
manifested itself in a fierce doggedness, and he fought stubbornly for their
happiness and security right up to his final breath. Those whom Dan has touched
will celebrate his life from now until their own final days, when they will once
again stand before those beautiful eyes and bask in that wonderful, tooth-hiding
grin. Survived by his wife Beverly of 33 years. Loving father of Matt Sheehy of
San Francisco, Stephanie Sheehy of Sacramento and Mike Sheehy of Stockton. Dear
son of Pauline Sheehy and the late William Sheehy. Cherished brother of Bill
Sheehy of Temecula, CA, Victoria Joyce of San Francisco, Carol Sheehy of San
Rafael, Mark Sheehy and Mary
Nuckols, both of San Francisco
