Will of William Watson Nuckolls

"In the name of God, Amen.

I, Wm, W Nuckolls of the County of Hanover being of sound mind, memory, do make this as may last will and testament in writing hereby revoking all former wills made by me.

1st, I hereby devise and bequeath to my wife Harriett C Nuckols my whole estate both real and personal during her life to be used managed and enjoyed in such manner as in her judgement would best promote her welfare and interest and that of her children and at the death of my said wife it is my wish and desire that my estate shall be equally divided among all my children. I hereby authorize and empower my said wife at such times as she may think proper, taking an account of thereof, to make advancements to any of my said children, as she may think proper, and that said advancements be accounted for by such of my children as shall receive the same. After the death of my said wife in the final distribution of my estate, I hereby appoint my wife Harriet C Nuckols the sole Executor of this my last will and testament and request that she may be permitted to qualify as such without being required to give security. Witness may hand and seal this day of 1860."

In Hanover County Court Clerks office, December 31st, 1872. This will with a copy of the order setting up and establishing the same was this day delivered to me and is admitted into record.
